Custom Shower Invitations
Custom Shower Invitations: Layout | Design
Client: Brianna and Stephon
I have't created one of these in awhile, I have been so busy with corporate projects, but something that I absolutely love to do. The concept for this was based on something that my clients found but wanted tweaked a bit to fit their shower theme. They were very pleased with the end result, and as they say..."they like it, I love it!"

Will You be Our Bride?
Rack Card/Post Card: Layout | Design
Client: Weddings by Tanzi
Tips to Finding a Wedding Planner
Get References Don’t just get phone numbers from prospective wedding planners and assume everything was okay. Call these clients and follow up with them. Also, check their record on websites such as the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, and local review websites.
Insure Them 40% of wedding insurance claims stem from problems with a wedding planner. If the bride decides to hire a wedding planner, and their references check out, purchase wedding insurance to protect the investment.
Have Clear Ideas Wedding planners can plan every detail of a wedding, but without a clear concept, the bride may be disappointed. Always communicate theme ideas to the wedding planner. If the bride is having a themed wedding, be sure to tell the planner if the bride expects custom wedding candy or cute figurines as favors, for example.
Hire the Best Take a look at the budget, and decide on what the bride can realistically afford to pay a wedding planner. Once the bride has a concrete number, contact as many wedding planners as possible. Some planners will offer special deals and others may not.

Infographics: Ways to GREEN your Office
Infographic Layout | Design
Client: Simply Global Designs
6 Reasons why YOUR company should use infographics:
- Short Attention Spans
With the constant hustle and bussle of modern life, people have short attention spans. This is demonstrated by the fact that most people will decide to leave a website or continue exploring it in the first 2-4 seconds of seeing the page. With very little time to convince people to stick around, infographics and visualizations are a more effective way to literally catch peoples’ eye.
- Information Overload
With the world’s information currently doubling every two years, it is no wonder people experience information overload. With smartphones, tablets and the ubiquity of the internet, people are constantly receiving, analyzing, sharing and creating new information. Due to this overload you need to stick out to get people’s attention. Creating a compelling visualization of data or information can make it really stick out from all of the other noise of day-to-day life.
- Easy to Understand
As humans, we are very visual creatures. Our ability to quickly interpret visual information is far greater than that of written words. By creating visualizations you can make complex information easier to understand.
- Reading Retention
People have horrible retention rates for the information they read. According to the data sited in the infographic on data visualization below, people only remember about 20% of what they read.
- More Engaging
With such a large volume of new content published every day, people are inundated. By creating something that is visually compelling, people are more likely to be engaged.
- People Love Sharing Infographics
The visual nature of the human species is highlighted by just how much people love sharing infographics and interesting data visualizations. This is demonstrated by the widespread adoption of infographics for linkbuilding and viral marketing. If people have a choice between something that is visually compelling and easy to digest they are going to choose that over other forms such as written word that takes longer and more energy to digest.

Informational Flyer
Flyer Layout|Design
Client: BAEO
I had fun with this one, I researched for a while to find inspiration for a creative way to display the images on the flyer; hence the bubbles. Left image: I wanted to push the creativity slightly more with the tinted blurred black and white image of kids playing in the background...I chose purple because the event was in Louisiana and purple is the state color. Realizing that this idea may be a busy for some, I also created the right image sticking with the organization color scheme...and let the client decide which one to use (My favorite and first choice would be image on the left).
I always, always, always provide options.

Gone Fishing!
Banner Design
Client: Private Party
Fun jobs like this are the reason why I love what I do...designing a retirement banner for a private party. Quick and easy. The client wanted something that depicted the two retiring siblings, one plans to hit the water and the other the malls...either way they will be out of the office.
